Southern Forest Machinery, a family-owned and operated dealership based in Manjimup, is seeking a motivated Agricultural Sales Representative to join our growing team. Representing leading brands such as Massey Ferguson, Fendt, Antonio Carraro, CF Moto, Landboss, Hydralada, Bad Boy and Croplands, we pride ourselves on delivering practical, farmer-focused solutions across the South West.
We are offering a competitive salary with commission, fully maintained company vehicle, phone and laptop to enable you to deliver a comprehensive end to end sales experience for the benefit of our customers.
About the Role
This is more than just a sales role, it’s about building long-term relationships and helping customers find the right machinery solutions for their operations. With a diverse product mix on offer, you’ll be working in a fast-paced environment with endless sales opportunities available for the right person.
You will be responsible for:
- Working with new and existing customers to understand their needs and recommend tailored machinery solutions
- Managing the full sales process from enquiry through to delivery and after-sales support
- Generating and following up on leads using our existing customer database
- Preparing quotes, proposals and finance options
- Maintaining strong relationships within the local agricultural community
- Providing ongoing support to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business
You’ll be supported by an experienced management team, strong product training, and full admin support to help you succeed.
What We’re Looking For
- A genuine interest in agriculture and machinery
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- A self-motivated, driven individual who enjoys working toward targets
- Technical skills or experience with using agricultural machinery (essential)
- Ability to think outside the box and deliver practical solutions
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- High level of computer literacy
- Willingness to travel locally and be out on-farm
- Current driver’s licence
- Community-minded person committed to consistently delivering a high level of service and fit-for-purpose outcomes for our customers
