Experienced Rope Access Supervisors – South West Opportunities
South West WA | DIDO | Regular Shutdown & Maintenance Work
Breight Group is looking for experienced Rope Access Supervisors based in the South West region of WA to support regular shutdown and maintenance works throughout the year.
We’re seeking experienced IRATA Supervisors who meet S26 requirements and can provide strong field leadership across Rope Access scopes.
Opportunities will be offered across planned shutdown and maintenance campaigns based on upcoming work requirements and your availability.
To be considered, you must have a permanent Point of Hire within the South West region of WA that supports DIDO travel to and from site.
The Role
As a Rope Access Supervisor, you will:
– Lead and supervise Rope Access crews across shutdown and maintenance scopes.
– Provide effective field leadership and coordinate daily work activities.
– Ensure Rope Access activities are planned and executed in accordance with IRATA requirements and site procedures.
– Review work scopes, access requirements and rescue considerations prior to execution.
– Conduct pre-starts and communicate work priorities and expectations.
– Coordinate resources, equipment and work fronts.
– Monitor safety, productivity, quality and progress throughout execution.
– Complete required documentation, reporting and shift handovers.
– Identify and escalate operational, safety and resourcing issues.
What You’ll Need
To be considered, you will need:
– S26 statutory supervisor requirements – mandatory
– Demonstrated experience supervising Rope Access teams within mining, shutdown, maintenance or heavy industrial environments.
– Strong working knowledge of IRATA requirements and safe Rope Access systems.
– Demonstrated experience with Rope Access planning, risk assessment and rescue requirements.
– Strong safety leadership and field supervision capability.
– Ability to effectively coordinate multiple work fronts and changing priorities.
– Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
– Relevant site competencies and ability to meet mobilisation requirements.
– Permanent Point of Hire within the South West region of WA.
– Ability to DIDO to and from site from your nominated South West Point of Hire.
– Flexibility to work planned shutdown and maintenance campaigns throughout the year.
