To get this unique opportunity going, we are recruiting for a Senior Administrator to support the establishment and operations of our new Centre located in and supporting the Warren-Blackwood region.

About Us
Youth Focus is a for-purpose organisation that creates brighter futures for young people in WA by offering a range of no-cost mental health services. Established in 1994, Youth Focus delivers innovative and accessible mental health services and programs across WA to help young people aged 12 to 25. A key component of this is our role as the lead agency for five headspace Centres, including headspace Manjimup Centre.
About the Role
Reporting to the Centre Manager, this position is entrusted to:
Coordinate and project manage approved establishment tasks for the centre, including coordinating trades and assets
Provide a safe, welcoming and youth-friendly welcome to all young people and stakeholders accessing our centre
Manage incoming telephone calls, emails and general reception duties in a professional and effective manner
Scheduling of appointments including redirection of referrals when suitable, managing cancellations, and timely data entry of client information into organisational databases
Provide administrative support to the Centre Manager including scheduling meetings, preparation of reporting, and other admin duties
Develop and maintain admin processes for the centre and manage necessary stakeholder relationships to support day-to-day operations
Provide support to other reception/admin staff, including ensuring adequate training and suitable allocation of duties
About You
To be considered for this position, applicants will have:
Demonstrated (4 years+) experience in the health sector, office management or a senior administrative position
Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to engage with young people, vulnerable groups, and diverse stakeholders
Strong understanding of administrative and quality improvement processes and the ability to document policies, forms, and processes.
Demonstrated experience and expertise with Microsoft Suite and Outlook, with capacity to learn new programs as needed
Strong understanding of supplier/contract management and financial reporting
A strong understanding of privacy and confidentiality within a healthcare setting
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Highly developed organisation and time management skills with capacity to work autonomously when needed
Driver’s Licence with capacity to travel for work when needed
Willingness to work outside of standard hours when needed
