To get this unique opportunity going, we are recruiting for a dynamic Centre Manager to support the establishment and operations our new Centre located in and supporting the Warren-Blackwood region (coming soon!).

About the Role
The Centre Manager will lead the establishment and drive outcomes of our new headspace Manjimup Centre. Reporting to and with support from the Regional Manager, key responsibilities of this role include:
Develop and meet organisational strategic goals, vision, and mission through the development and delivery of operational plans.
Coordinate the recruitment and establishment of headspace Manjimup staff, in partnership with Human Resources, fostering an engaging team culture aligned with organisational values.
Remain accountable for the effective and efficient management of the centre including managing financial, IT and material resources.
Support ongoing audit, accreditation, reporting and fidelity processes for all programs in line with funding, contractual and organisational requirements.
Build and foster necessary local stakeholder relationships, including establishing and coordinating the headspace Manjimup Centre’s Consortium.
Provide line management to direct reports and ensure appropriate clinical supervision for the Clinical Lead and Clinical Team.

Youth Focus is a for-purpose organisation that creates brighter futures for young people in Western Australia by offering a range of no-cost mental health services. Established in 1994, Youth Focus delivers innovative and accessible mental health services and programs across Western Australia to help young people aged 12 to 25.
A key component of this is our role as the lead agency for five headspace centres, including our new headspace Manjimup Centre.
The headspace mission is to collaborate to design and deliver innovative ways of working with young people to strengthen their mental health and wellbeing. This covers four core areas: mental health, physical health, work and study support, and alcohol and other drug services.
About You
To be considered for this position, applicants will have:
5 years+ experience working within the mental health and/or non-government sector.
Demonstrated management experience including providing operational support and clinical supervision (regional and outreach experience advantageous).
Degree in Social Work, Psychology, OT, Nursing (or relevant allied health discipline) with registration or membership with an appropriate professional body.
Experience managing funding contracts and stakeholder relationships.
Demonstrated experience in the development, implementation, and review of Clinical Governance Models.
A passion for leadership – including people management and change management.
High level written and oral communication skills, with capacity to communicate effectively across varying audiences including vulnerable groups and varying stakeholders.
Knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation, policies and issues informing health and other services for young people and families.
