Founded in 2004, Total Harvesting is a locally owned and operated business with operation centres in Albany, Bunbury, Yornup and Esperance. We log, chip and haul Bluegum and pine products under various contracts in W.A.
Total Harvesting has strong commitments to the region and the community, along with its employees and the timber industry. The Role
Total Harvesting Pty Ltd are seeking Full Time Fitters/HD Mechanics to work with our Yornup/Manjimup team.
You will be joining a small well experienced team working within the forestry sector, with your scope of works largely pertaining to fleet servicing and repair of Sany & Komatsu Harvesters and Forwarders, Tigercat & John Deere Skidders and Bunchers, Peterson & Husky Chippers and Flails along with a fleet of Kenworth, Iveco and Mack Prime Movers and logging and chip trailers.
What we are looking for:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar field
- Proven ability to undertake mechanical diagnostics and repairs
- Trade certified
- Experience with agricultural/forestry equipment would be viewed upon favourably
- Motivated self-starter
- Dedicated work ethic with a can-do attitude
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Strong commitment to safety and adherence to company policies and procedures
