Full Time Residential Positions
Talison Lithium aims to maximise local employment where possible by recruiting people who live in and around our local communities of Greenbushes, Bridgetown, Donnybrook, Nannup, Boyup Brook and Manjimup.
About the Role
This role supports the Production team by performing a range of operational and maintenance tasks during both shutdown and non-shutdown periods. It requires a proactive team player with strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety and site standards.
This is a permanent full-time position at the Greenbushes Lithium Operation. The successful candidates will work an 80-hour fortnightly roster, with 10-hour shifts Monday-Friday on shutdown weeks and Tuesday-Thursday on non-shutdown weeks.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Replace consumables on the plant’s media screens.
- Maintain detailed records of completed shutdown tasks.
- Collect reservations from the store, verify accuracy, and deliver to location.
- Support plant operators during in maintenance, production, and housekeeping.
- Operate equipment including Frontend Loader, Forklift, Skid Steer, and Dugless.
- Conduct high-pressure water cleaning.
- Monitor and report on the condition of the Production mobile fleet.
- Operate and monitor de-watering pumps.
- Carry out loader/bagger duties as directed.
About the Candidate
To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate the following:
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Good interpersonal and effective team collaboration skills
- Willingness to learn and participate in structured training
- Sound literacy and numeracy skills and basic computer literacy
- Able to work in confined spaces and at height
- Current C Class Driver’s Licence
- MR Truck Licence (desirable)
- Loader and Skid Steer tickets (desirable)
- Valid Licence to Perform High Risk Work with Forklift Truck competency (can be obtained on the job)
