Practice Manager Full Time NEW

Southern Forests Medical Centre (SFMC) is seeking a professional, experienced and motivated Practice Manager to lead and manage the day-to-day operations of our general practice in Manjimup.  We are looking for a suitably qualified person to lead our dedicated team of 6 doctors, nurses and administrative team.  The candidate should thrive in a busy environment, be self-motivated and organised.  This is a full-time role (38 hours a week).

The ideal candidate would embrace the business values of quality, professionalism, personalised patient care and evolving to meet community needs in all aspects of work.

Position Criteria

·         Previous experience in a management or high-level practice administration position

·         Liaise with management team on practice finances

·         Strong organisational and time management skills

·         Experience managing multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment

·         Conflict resolution and problem- solving skills

·         Excellent computer skills with experience in Best Practice (or similar software) and MYOB

·         Experience in a payroll systems and legislated employment conditions

·         Confident with the Medicare Benefits Schedule

·         Maintaining RACGP Accreditation standards and compliance (experience preferable)

·         Ability to demonstrate and encourage leadership and teamwork

·         Proactive approach with decision making and problem solving

·         A patient focused approach to management

·         Develop and monitor indicators to track practice efficiency and quality of care

This position would be an excellent opportunity to work with an experienced team in rural general practice.  Training will be provided to ensure a smooth transition to the position.
