We are seeking an experienced and skilled Machine Operator to join our team in Manjimup . As a Machine Operator, you will play a crucial role in our forestry operations, ensuring the efficient and safe operation of our specialised machinery to support our fulltime business needs.
At South West Haulage Company, we are committed to providing a supportive and rewarding work environment for our employees. This is a permanent Full – Time position, 5 days per week, Monday – Friday. We offer competitive hourly rates + overtime.
This role is Manjimup based.
What you’ll be doing
Safely operating and maintaining a range of heavy machinery and equipment
Performing pre-operational checks and monitoring equipment performance to identify and resolve any issues
Adhering to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment
Maintaining accurate records and documentation related to equipment usage and maintenance
What we’re looking for
Demonstrated proficiency in the safe and efficient operation of a variety of heavy machinery and equipment
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high safety standards
Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with colleagues
A valid driver’s licence
Willing to do a Pre–employment medical and Drug and Alcohol test
Aware of Safety procedures and Fatigue management
Have the right to live and work in Australia
