The South West Aboriginal Medical Service (SWAMS) is an Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Service based in Bunbury which provides a variety of health services to Aboriginal people in the South West of Western Australia. SWAMS delivers a wide range of primary health and community programs and has a strong growth strategy through partnership opportunities and future community development.

About you
SWAMS plays a crucial role in delivering services to the South West community, aiming to reduce the number of Aboriginal children entering care. By providing culturally appropriate services to at-risk families in partnership with Key Assets Australia, we are deeply committed to advocating for the safety of Aboriginal children, ensuring they remain at home with their families.
Our Case Workers in the Support Network program will build and maintain Support Networks and interagency networks in the Manjimup region, developing referral systems to help clients navigate services. Positioned at the front reception, they will be the first point of contact for families and young people seeking assistance and will also work on the “Service Network” phone service.
