Part-Time (15-20 hours per week), 6-Month Maximum-Term,
$36.66 – $39.98 per hour (plus entitlements)
The Position
This role will be responsible for providing support across core Human Resources operational functions, enabling the efficient day-to-day delivery of Human Resources. This role is responsible, but not limited, for:
Provide administrative support across a range of Human Resources functions and processes, including:
Maintaining employee records and personnel files.
Assisting with recruitment, onboarding and employment administration processes.
Supporting workers compensation and injury management administration.
Maintaining accurate HR records, correspondence and documentation.
Assist HR Coordinator with delivering employee wellbeing initiatives and programs
Provide support to the HR Coordinator and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and day-to-day operations.
This position would be suited to a recent graduate or someone currently working towards a career in Human Resources, offering valuable hands-on experience across a broad range of HR functions.
Selection Criteria
To be successful in this role you will need:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
Highly developed organisational and time management skills.
Demonstrated experience in an administrative or HR support role.
Basic knowledge of Human Resource practices and processes.
Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and integrity.
Understanding and exposure to the range of functions of local government (desirable).
Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or related discipline (or working towards) (desirable).
Current “C” Class Driver Licence.
