Leading Hand / Senior Electrician (Contractor)

With a strong pipeline of work and a growing client base, they are seeking experienced and motivated Leading Hand / Senior Electricians to join their professional team.

The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Leading Hand / Senior Electrician to undertake a diverse range of electrical maintenance and service work across residential and commercial environments.

This role requires a strong focus on fault diagnosis, equipment servicing and system installations, as well as leadership responsibilities to guide and mentor junior team members, ensuring high standards of work and safety compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate electrical maintenance and service tasks across multiple sites
• Diagnose and rectify faults in appliances, equipment control systems, and installations
• Replace and install pumps, floats, lighting, switchboards, and other electrical equipment
• Conduct small-scale PLC tasks (experience considered advantageous)
• Ensure all work meets current electrical standards and complies with safety regulations
• Mentor and support junior electricians, providing guidance and technical expertise
• Liaise with clients to provide professional advice and solutions

Essential Requirements:

• Valid WA Electrical Contractor’s Licence – Doesn’t have to have a EC as this role is under the nominee, although would be advantageous in future
• Recognised Trade Qualification as an Electrician
• Current C-Class Driver’s Licence
• White Card (Construction Industry Safety)
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening
• Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and diagnostic skills
