Training Advisor – Greenbushes Full Time

Macmahon is a leading Australian company delivering an end-to-end service offering to clients throughout Australia and Southeast Asia. Delivering a comprehensive range of surface mining, underground mining, and engineering services to the resources sector.

The Greenbushes project is in the picturesque Southwest region of Western Australia in the Shire of Bridgetown-Greenbushes. Our client, Talison Lithium, is the world’s leading lithium minerals concentrate provider and the Greenbushes project is recognised as containing the world’s highest grade and largest hard rock deposit of the lithium mineral spodumene. Macmahon is pleased to have commenced surface mining operations at the project from 1st July 2023.

Due to continued growth, we are now at our next phase of recruitment and have a significant ramp up at our Greenbushes Project. We are seeking experienced Training Advisors to join the Greenbushes team on a Drive-In-Drive-Out (DIDO) basis, on an 8/6 roster. We have an opportunity for 1x Long Term Trainer and 1x Short Term Trainer (6 months).

The Site Trainer is responsible for leading the delivery of all operational training requirements across the project, ensuring site personnel can perform their roles in accordance with Macmahon procedures and industry standards.

Skills & Experience Required:
• Previous experience in a similar role
• Extensive surface mining experience & understanding
• Proven experience in proficient operation of various mobile equipment (Excavators, Loaders, Dozers, Graders and Dump Trucks)
• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
