The role
Global Advanced Metals is seeking an experienced Boilermaker to join our team at our Greenbushes site in Western Australia. This is a full-time, permanent, on-site role working a 7 days on and 7 days off roster. Day shift only.
This is a residential role requiring you to live within daily commuting distance of Greenbushes.
Reporting to the Maintenance Coordinator, the successful applicant will be required:
To be an integral part of the Maintenance Team.
Work in conjunction with the Production Department
Fabricate, Maintain and repair fixed plant and equipment.
Assist Fixed Plant Fitters with as and when required
Ensure and promote safe working practices.
General housekeeping.
Liaise with other Maintenance personnel to complete set goals.
Requirements to be successful in this role are:
To be a trade qualified Boilermaker/Welder.
High Risk Ticket with Working at heights, EWP, confined space, and forklift (advantageous)
Have a minimum of 5 years experience in fixed plant maintenance.
Safe work ethics and attitude.
Strong attention to detail.
Good organisational and communication skills.
Outgoing with a common sense approach to problem solving
Willingness to improve and add knowledge.
Physically fit.
Team player.
Current C class manual drivers licence.
