Community Programs Officer Full Time

The Bridgetown Hub is a community centre located in Bridgetown, WA. We are funded to create a welcoming hub offering programs, services, and flexible spaces where our community can meet, play, create, learn and grow.

The brand new role of Community Programs Coordinator supports the planning, delivery, and administration of programs, workshops, book clubs, events, and services at the Bridgetown Hub. The role ensures that all programs meet the needs of our community and the requirements for our funding bodies.

The role reports to the Centre Manager, and includes administrative support, community engagement, grant sourcing, venue hire coordination, and marketing tasks.

Part-time – 15 hours per week. Flexibility on when these hours are worked, as they will need to fit in with programs.

We are looking for a dynamic individual who has experience working in community development or community centres, experience with grant writing and acquittal, social media marketing. Most importantly the right candidate will have an ability to develop relationships and partnerships with a range of community stakeholders.
