Typical works may include:
Assisting repairs of high value food processing equipment
General building maintenance
Minor construction works and grounds repairs
Complete general upkeep on site and visual checks on assets and site equipment including repairing doors, locks, fencing, gates, wall repairs (EPS), painting, patching, yard duties as required, to keep organised and clean
Paving and concrete repairs
Building inspections and condition reporting (verbal)
Emergency make-safe works
Help with basic machinery repairs
Be responsible for the care and use of all tools and equipment
Operate hand power tools and equipment as required
Operate as sweeper and forklift to load and unload maintenance supplies
Perform other duties as requested by your Manager.
Useful skills
Trade qualifications highly regarded; however, previous experience will be considered.
Strong mechanical aptitude will be highly regarded.
Welding and fabrication experience is highly regarded.
Commitment to maintaining a strong safety culture while maximizing productivity.
Current C-class driver’s licence.
Current forklift license preferred
