About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Support Worker to assist a client based on a rural property approximately 30 minutes from Manjimup. This is a 24/7 support role, requiring availability for rotating shifts, including weekdays, weekends, and overnight hours. Flexibility is essential to accommodate varying schedules.
Support will be provided in a private home environment shared with family, and includes domestic assistance, transport to appointments (using the client’s vehicle), and light animal care. Due to the location, travel incentives, DIDO, or possibility of accommodation may be available to the right candidate.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, is confident in a family setting, and is comfortable around animals and young children.
Ideal Candidate
- Friendly, talkative, and confident working one-on-one in a family home
- Comfortable with animals
- Experience supporting individuals with physical or mobility challenges
- Female applicants encouraged (preferred)
- Comfortable working in regional or rural settings
Mandatory Requirements
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- First Aid and CPR certificates
- Working With Children Check (required)
- Current driver’s licence
- Non-smoker
