Labourer – Greenbushes Full Time

We are currently seeking expression of interest for residential Labourers for 7 shifts on 7 days off position at our Greenbushes Mining Project starting in November. Local Applicants only.

You will:

Collect used drill bits and other consumables as required
Resharpen drill bits for secondary use via drill bit auto-machining.
Rebuild driller hammers
Maintain a tidy, well labelled and organised shed, consumables shelving and laydown area.
Deliver consumables to drill rigs in pit, as requested
Use correct manual handling techniques
Drive safely in and around the open pit mining area
Provide ‘as required’ support to the Drill Leading Hand
Be willing to be trained for future roles in blasting and/or operating a drill rig.
Experience required:

At least 6 months experience in a physically demanding, field-based role, demonstrating an understanding of safe manual handling techniques
Australian C Class Drivers licence, with the ability to achieve HR licence within 6 months.
Dangerous Goods Security Card
This is a heavy labouring position, and the candidate will be required to undertake the ‘heavy’ medical assessment to ensure fitness suitability.
