About the role
We are seeking a Store Manager to join Clover’s General Store in Bridgetown, WA. This is position is 70 hours per fortnight 7am-2pm, Monday to Friday, that offers the perfect opportunity for a dedicated employee looking to lead a dynamic store environment. As Store Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, driving sales performance, and creating an exceptional customer experience. This role is pivotal to the success of our store and plays a key role in delivering our company’s strategic objectives within the retail and consumer products sector.
Key responsibilities
Oversee daily store operations, ensuring smooth and efficient business processes
Manage and motivate staff, training, performance management and scheduling
Drive sales performance and work towards achieving store targets
Maintain store standards, including visual merchandising, cleanliness and product displays
Manage inventory control, stock ordering and logistics
Deliver exceptional customer service and resolve customer complaints promptly and professionally
Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations and relevant legislation
Implement and promote company initiatives and promotional campaigns
Build strong relationships with local community and customers to enhance brand loyalty

Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff
Excellent customer service orientation and ability to build positive customer relationships
Basic understanding of retail operations, inventory management and point-of-sale systems
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle challenging situations effectively
Flexibility and adaptability to changing retail environments
Current working rights in Australia
Preferred: Experience in a similar retail environment or specific product category
