About the role
Bannister Downs Dairy is seeking a dedicated Quality Officer to join our team in Northcliffe, Western Australia. This full-time role will be responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of our dairy products, playing a crucial part in upholding our reputation for excellence.
What you’ll be doing
Conducting thorough inspections and quality checks on raw materials, production processes and finished products
Identifying and resolving quality issues, implementing corrective actions and documenting non-conformances
Analysing data and generating reports to monitor quality trends and drive continuous improvement
Collaborating with production, admin and procurement teams to maintain high standards
Ensuring the company’s quality management systems and procedures are adhered to
Providing training and guidance to team on quality control best practices and ongoing coaching to ensure they are being upheld
What we’re looking for
Demonstrated experience in a quality assurance or control role within the manufacturing, and preferably food production industries
Strong understanding of quality management systems, statistical process control and root cause analysis techniques
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including purposeful SOP creation and easy to use guidelines for team to deliver
Relevant tertiary qualifications in a food science, or quality management discipline

Our delicious, nutritious dairy products that are enjoyed by customers across Western Australia and also with a bi-weekly shipment to Singapore.
It is expected that export volumes will increase in the immediate future and this role is critical to achieve seamless growth without any compromise on food safety and/or product quality.
