The role
Global Advanced Metals is seeking an experienced Maintenance Coordinator to join our team at our Greenbushes site in Western Australia. This is a full-time, permanent role.
What you’ll be doing
Reporting to the Production Superintendent you will be responsible for:
Develop monthly, weekly and daily schedules for all preventative, corrective and ad hoc maintenance work
Ensure planned maintenance programs are conducted in accordance with defined specifications and agreed timelines.
Co-ordinate activities within site operations to ensure efficiency and cost effectiveness.
Contribute to the development of a capital expenditure program to ensure continuity of optimal operations in a safe and environmentally responsible manner
Operate Oracle software
Shutdown plans for equipment, parts and personnel
Organise inductions, permits and approvals required by contractors to work on GAM sites.
Ensure statutory compliance tasks are up to date and completed across the fleet
Manage and support a team of tradesmen
The successful applicant will be required to have
The ability to prioritise critical work paths in a fast paced environment
Sound written and strong verbal communication skills
Excellent organisational skills and ability to multi-task
Sound experience with IT applications including Microsoft suite
Ability to run reports, audit documentation and adhere to procedures
Strong collaboration skills with other team members, suppliers and customers
A current motor vehicle license.
Previous experience in a similar role
Applicants must have Australian residency to be considered for this role. Only applicants that currently reside in Australia will be considered.
