PRACTICE MANAGER
We are looking for a full-time Practice Manager to lead our amazing team. This position plays a critical role in overseeing the day-to-day running of the Practice and ensuring the patient experience aligns with our values. You will provide high-level practice management support to our doctors, clinical, and administrative staff, whilst demonstrating leadership and encouraging teamwork and inclusion.
To be successful in this role you will have:
· Previous experience in a management position.
· Experience in financial management, high level budget management and analysis, accounting systems and reporting processes
· Excellent administrative skills including written and oral communication
· High computer competency with a good understanding of IT and communication management
· The ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality
· The ability to demonstrate and encourage leadership and teamwork
· Strength in building customer and stakeholder relationships
· Demonstrated people management skills and experience with recruitment, payroll systems and an understanding of Work Health & Safety
· Good understanding of payroll and legislated employment conditions
Desirable qualities include:
· An understanding of medical terminology, medical and allied health professional organisations and relevant stakeholders
· Understanding of the Medicare Benefits Schedule
· Previous experience with Best Practice
· An understanding or experience in general practice accreditation and standards
