Global Advanced Metals is seeking an experienced Fixed Plant Fitter to join our team at our Greenbushes site in Western Australia. This is a full-time, permanent, on-site role working a 7 days on and 7 days off roster. Day shift only.
This is a residential role requiring you to live within daily commuting distance of Greenbushes.
Reporting to the Maintenance Coordinator, the successful applicant will be required:
- To be an integral part of the Maintenance Team.
- Work in conjunction with the Production Department
- Maintain fixed plant and equipment including bucket elevators, rotary kilns, augers /screw conveyors and belt filters
- Maintain centrifugal and positive displacement pumps.
- Assist Boilermakers with as and when required
- Ensure and promote safe working practices.
- General housekeeping.
- Liaise with other Maintenance personnel to complete set goals.
Requirements to be successful in this role are:
- To be a trade qualified Mechanical Fitter.
- Previous gas fitting/troubleshooting experience (advantageous).
- High Risk Ticket with Working at heights, EWP, confined space, and forklift (advantageous)
- Machining experience (advantageous).
- Have a minimum of 5 years experience in fixed plant maintenance.
- Safe work ethics and attitude.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good organisational and communication skills.
- Outgoing with a common sense approach to problem solving
- Willingness to improve and add knowledge.
- Physically fit.
- Team player.
- Current C class manual drivers licence.
