About the Role
As Berry Production Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of berry picking, packing, and logistics, ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and productivity. This is a hands-on leadership role that combines people management, operational efficiency, and data-driven decision-making. You’ll work closely with senior management, and the picking, packing, logistics, agronomy, and administration teams to deliver exceptional outcomes.
Australian work rights are required for this position.
You must be prepared to live in Northcliffe, WA, as the role requires weekend shifts as well as the ability to come to work at times with limited notice and outside of ordinary business hours.
Key Responsibilities
· Develop budgets, reporting, and strategy along with other senior management
· Support CEO and other executives by providing analysis, advice and insights in relation to the berry production performance of the business
· Lead, manage and motivate teams, fostering a positive, safety-first culture
· Manage labour planning, recruitment, training, and performance
· Drive efficiency in picking and packing operations, achieving set KPIs
· Oversee quality assurance, food safety, and compliance processes
· Analyse and utilise operational data to improve productivity and reduce costs
· Ensure seamless logistics, from harvest to order fulfilment
· Maintain accurate records for audits, compliance, and traceability
What We’re Looking For
· A minimum Bachelor or Diploma level qualification is required for this position
· Proven experience in operational and management roles in berry farming
· Demonstratable leadership, management and planning skills
· Strong administrative skills and technology savvy
· High attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety
· Experience with administering Quality Assurance programs including HACCP, Freshcare, Fair Farms, and general food safety standards
· Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities
