Fruit Packhouse Operations Supervisor role with a thriving and diverse key WA horticultural company.

Permanent Full-Time Position, 5 days per week.
We are offering an exciting opportunity for a suitable individual to join the Newtons’ team in an Operations role, overseeing the daily operation of plant and equipment and assisting in the development of a comprehensive maintenance program. This role provides a dynamic platform for continuous learning and professional growth with extensive training provided. Primary responsibilities include:
Supervise the daily operation of the Pre-sizer to ensure maximum productivity.
Create, maintain, and oversee the Pre-sizer maintenance schedule.
Troubleshooting any issues/breakdowns as required, as well as completing any basic maintenance and repairs.
Liaising with Packhouse managers regarding fruit processing schedules and informing management of any breakdowns/time delays.
Liaise with Packhouse Management regarding fruit logistics required for the Pre-sizer to ensure no down-time
Assist Forklift operators to pack-out and load cool-rooms when needed
To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate the following:
Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
· Mechanically minded and competent in the repair and maintenance of plant equipment.
The ability and temperament to multitask, prioritize tasks, and adapt to variable workloads.
Have an eye for detail.
Basic Computer skills.
Sensitive to cultural differences.
Current forklift license (desirable)
