Jane joined the MCRC team in March 2019 as the Volunteer Development Officer.
Jane grew up in Perth and at age 17 moved to Bridgetown where she became, and remains a solid country hearted gal.
Jane spend a number of years in Bunbury where she achieved her Cert iii in Disabilities, Cert iii in Aged Care and Cert iii in Youth Work. She worked extensively with disabled children at college Row Primary, followed by working as an EA at Eaton Community College. From there she became the Shire Of Dardanup Youth Officer and grew this service over a 10yr period to be recognised and awarded for being the best Youth Centre in the South West (2011).
Two years of study saw the achievement of Qualified Professional Counsellor with a study major in Conflict Resolution. Following the Youth Officer position Jane developed the private practice White Dove Counselling Services. This business operated both in Bunbury and Manjimup until 2017.
2017 saw the move full time back to her beloved country where she now enjoys horse riding, gardening and crafting. and being in her role as Volunteer Services Officer she has become involved with community groups and events and enjoys promoting local business, community groups and supporting volunteers. This relocation has also lead to rekindling many friendships from years ago.
